Renovation of a residential development in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,000-square-foot, three-story above grade residential development.
As of March 22, 2024, Project was awarded to following contractors: 1.General Construction: $286,514 to CB Construction Services, Inc. 2.HVAC/Mechanical: $21,963 to A. A. Krall & Sons, LLC 3.Plumbing: $23,950 to Pat Brewer Carpentry 4.Electrical portion of the project with bids due 2pm on April 5th. The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Lebanon will receive bids for the renovation of one (1) single family home at 39 N 12th Street in the City of Lebanon, Lebanon County, Construction Contract Numbers C-1-24-RACL-G, -P, -M, and -E, Therefore contracts are expected to run from February 12, 2024 to June 10, 2024. - The Redevelopment Authority is seeking to renovate the Authority's former offices at 39 N 12 th Street, Lebanon, PA 17046. The project involves building-wide renovations in an approximately 2,000 square foot 3- story building originally built as a residence but most recently used as an office. Partial renovations have been completed to start the work of converting the property back to residential. The proposed further renovations are designed to provide living space for three individuals in what will be essentially a first and second floor apartment. However, these residential units will be configured to provide one common residence, without separate entrances. Bids are invited for Contract Numbers: 39 N 12th Street Renovation, Lebanon C-1-24-RACL-G: General Construction C-1-24-RACL-P: Plumbing C-1-24-RACL-M: HVAC C-1-24-RACL-E: Electrical All contracts will be bid and awarded independently; bidders may bid on one or more of the contracts as they choose. Addenda, if any, will be issued only to those persons whose name and address are on record with the owner as having obtained the Contract Documents. A Bid Bond, in the form provided in the documents, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid is required for all bids. If bidding on multiple contracts, separate bid submission packets must be submitted along with individual bid bonds for each contract. Attention of the bidders is called to the fact that the Contract Documents contain information pertaining to Pennsylvania State Prevailing Wage Rates, Equal Employment Opportunity, and Non Discrimination Requirements. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids may be held by the owner for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. INSPECTION OF SITE Each Bidder should visit the site of the proposed work and fully acquaint himself with the existing conditions there relating to construction and labor, and should fully inform himself as to the facilities involved, the difficulties and restrictions attending the performance of the Contract. The Bidder should thoroughly examine and familiarize himself with the Drawings, Technical Specifications, and all other Contract Documents. The Contractor by the execution of the Contract shall in no way be relieved of anyobligation under it due to his failure to receive or examine any form or legal instrument or to visit the site and acquaint himself with the conditions there existing, and the Local Public Agency will be justified inrejecting any claim based on facts regarding which he should have been on notice as a result thereof.
