This is an invitation to provide tree pruning services as required by the City of Sunnyvale (City) in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions specified herein. The City intends to award one or more contracts. Initial contract term shall be for a one-year period. Contract(s) may be renewed for one additional one-year period provided services and costs are acceptable to the City. The City is soliciting bids from qualified tree care and maintenance firms ("Contractor") for the award of a contract to primarily provide structural pruning services for five (5) separate group locations of 3,000 street trees each, up to approximately 15,000 street trees total. The purpose of this maintenance contract is to provide the City with the best possible tree care to maintain the City's Street Trees and Urban Forest at a level expected by the City's residents, City Council, City staff, and visitors of the community. The selected firm will work closely with the City's Urban Landscape Manager and/or the City Arborist staff to insure the most appropriate care and maintenance of the City's Street Trees and Urban Forest with sensitivity to the City, its residents and visitors.
