On-Call Water Pollution Control Plant Pump Station Engine Maintenance and Repairs This is an invitation to provide On-Call Pump Station Engine Maintenance and Repair Services consisting of maintenance, overhaul, and repairs of generators, pump engines, and Power Generation Facility (PGF) engines services as required by the City of Sunnyvale (City) in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions specified herein. The initial contract term shall be for a one-year period. Contract(s) may be renewed for four (4) additional one-year periods provided services and costs are acceptable to the City. Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work necessary and incidental to the completion of the project known as "On-Call Pump Station Engine Maintenance and Repair Services" consisting of maintenance, overhaul, and repairs of generators, pump engines, and Power Generation Facility (PGF) engines, according to plans and specifications prepared by the City and accordingly to the contract documents. Time will be of the essence for repairs or rebuilds, City may specify maximum working days to complete these projects. Bid Security - Bidder shall submit bid security with the bid in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount (Base Bid plus Alternates, if any) and in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or surety bond issued by an admitted surety insurer authorized to conduct business in the State of California. The total amount of the successful bidder's bid security shall be forfeited to City if the bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish insurance as required by the bid documents within ten (10) calendar days after being notified in writing by City that the contract award has been made.
