The City of Sunnyvale ("City") (hereinafter "City") is accepting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from interested firms to establish multiple on-call contracts for On-Call Environmental Consultant Services. It is anticipated that on-call contracts will be awarded to the pre-qualified consultants for an initial period of five (5) years with an option to extend for two (2) additional one-year renewal periods at the sole discretion of the City. The number of Consultants selected will be at the sole discretion of the City and may be augmented, reduced, or terminated at any time. A contract award is not a guarantee of work. When a future project is available the City will provide information about that project and consider the consultants with on-call contracts awarded, per the corresponding category, to engage for that opportunity. Projects will be identified based on the Department needs and funding availability. Consultants that are awarded on-call contracts will be considered for work opportunities based upon qualifications relevant to each project. The City will request a cost proposal on a project-by-project basis. If a reasonable fee cannot be achieved with the Consultant of choice, negotiations will proceed with the other qualified On-Call Consultants until a mutual agreement is reached.
