It is the intent of the County to utilize any of the selected Consultants for Construction, Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services for roadway improvements to CR663 from DeSoto County Line to CR 665 (FPN# 445070-1-54-01), from CR 665 to Goose Pond Road (FPN# 445068-1-54-01) and from Goose Pond Road to SR 64 (FPN# 445065-1-54-01) in Hardee County, Florida. Individuals or firms must have expertise in design phase services to include design surveys, geotechnical services, construction plans, permits, utility relocation, right-of-way plans, final bidding and contract documents, advisory services during bidding. Site: CR663 is located in western Hardee County. Please see Exhibit "A-2" for a project location map. The Hardee County BOCC desires to resurface three (3) segments of CR 663 from DeSoto County Line to CR 665 (FPN# 445070-1-54-01) - 2.73 miles (State Budget- SCOP/SCRAP), from CR 665 to Goose Pond Road (FPN# 445068-1-54-01) - 3.21 miles (State Budget - SCRAP), and from Goose Pond Road to SR 64 (FPN# 445065-1-54-01) - 4.89 miles (Federal Budget -ARPA) with an approximate total of 10.83 miles for the entire project length from DeSoto C/L to SR 64. General improvements desired include milling and resurfacing of the roadway with necessary safety upgrades throughout the project limits. Associated safety and drainage improvements will also be addressed, as appropriate. The general objective is for one selected consultant to provide CEI services in order to develop a set of construction plans and bid documents. The County intends to award a services contract to one (1) consultant. This contract is due May 1, 2026. Term end date may be extended due to circumstances beyond the consultants control. The Respondent understands that this RFQ does not constitute an offer or agreement with the responder.
