Purpose of Solicitation The intention of this solicitation is to solicit proposals to establish a contract to provide services for Standpipe/Fire Sprinkler & Back-flow System Inspections and Service for the district's buildings and other areas specified herein and will include eventual new construction. Length of Solicitation The contract period shall be for one (1) year with automatic renewals for four (4)additional years with Lamar CISD, (LCISD) Board approval and provided that LCISD and the approved vendor are in mutual agreement. Lcisd is a K-12 Public School District in Fort Bend County Serving a Student Enrollment of Over 42,348. the District Currently Consists of 47 Campuses and 9 District Sites. It is the Intent of Lcisd to Establish a Turnkey Contract for Annual Inspections and Services of Standpipe/fire Sprinkler & Back-flow Systems. Description the Proposal Has Two Sections. Section One Will Be a Priced Proposal for Yearly Inspections of Standpipe/fire Sprinklers and Back-flows Owned by Lcisd. the Intent is for the Standpipe/sprinkler System Servicing the Facility to Be Properly Inspected and Tested. All Inspections and Services Will Be Performed in Conjunction With All Local, State, and Nfpa Codes. -3 Complete Copies (One Original and Two Copies) of the Final Approved Inspection Report Must Be Sent to Lcisd Maintenance Department-all Deficiencies Will Be Corrected by the Inspecting Contractor Within 24 to 48 Hours After Being Identified. a Part(S) to Be Ordered is the Only Circumstance That Offers an Extended Timetable for the Repair.-contractor Bidding for Inspections Must Fill Out the Section Two - Labor/material Services. Section Two Will Consist of a Labor and Material Proposal for Services to Add to, Maintain, and/or Repair, on a Regular Basis, the Fire Sprinklers and Back-flows. -all Issues Including but Not Limited to Installation, Trouble Shooting, and Repairs, Are Included in This Section-the Contractor Making a Repair Will Record for Each Repair. the Record Will Show the Nature of Call, Repairs Made, Labor to Be Charged, and Material Used. the Owner Must Sign Each Repair Record and a Copy Left With the Owner. Contract Dates the Contract Period Shall Be for One (1) Year and Four (4) Automatic Renewal Years With Lamar Cisd Board Approval and Provided That Lcisd and the Approved Vendor Are in Mutual Agreement.
