As of February 23, 2024, the construction manager expects to mobilize the site on March 4, 2024. The interior finishes bid package will be issued sometime late fall 2024. All other trades have been awarded. PUBLIC WORKS NO. 71013000-22-003 All work for the complete construction of the Project will be under one or more sub-contracts with the Construction Manager based on bids received from pre-qualified Tier 1 bidders and on combinations awarded. Award of contracts will be in accordance with Indiana Public Bidding Laws. The Construction Manager will not self-perform any of the work on this project Request For Information (RFIs) during the bid period must be emailed to The Skillman Corporation (kgujral@skillman.com). Add the following clarification: 9. Bid Category No. 4 Contractor shall include all costs associated with constructing mockups for the Base Bid stone selection, the Alternate Number 11 Option A stone selection, and the Alternate No. 12 Option B stone selection. Each of the three (3) mockups shall be constructed per the size indicated in Specification Section 044313.13 - Anchored Stone Masonry Veneer. Mockups shall be constructed at the Bid Category No. 4 Contractors facility for final owner/architect review and approval within sixty (60) days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The successful Bidders will be required to furnish Dual Obligee Performance and Payment Bonds for one hundred percent (100%) of their Contract amount prior to execution of Contracts. All Bids may be held for a period not to exceed 60 days before awarding contracts. Bid proposals for the scopes of work outlined in Section 01 12 00 - Multiple Contract Summary must be received on or before the due date and time. All first tier subcontractors wishing to bid and contract for this project must be prequalified in order to participate in the bidding process and to be considered for an award of contract. The prequalification process will be administered by the Owners Construction Manager as Constructor (CMc), The Skillman Corporation. The following are the Bid Categories under consideration for this project. 4 - Masonry : In order to prequalify, first tier subcontractors must submit their completed Prequalification Form conforming to the requirements set forth below by no later than February 6, 2024.
