Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hillman, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Project locations and description: CR 451 is located in Montmorency Township, sections 13, 24, & 25, T32N - R4E. Project starts approximately 150' north of the CR 451 & Snow Rd intersection and proceeds 2.01 miles ending approximately 150 feet north of Royston Road. Existing aggregate shoulders are to be graded 2' wide and 2" deep. First application of HMA is to be applied in the graded area (305 lb/syd) concurrently with a scratch course (85 lb/syd) over the existing top width. Second application of HMA is to be applied at 220 lb/syd with two 11 foot lanes and two 3 foot shoulders for a total HMA width of 28 feet. Estimated HMA, 36A (shoulder widening and scratch course) - 2,050 tons. Estimated HMA, 5EL (overlay) - 3,850 ton. Also, estimated 160 ton of HMA Approach. Other work activities include: berm grading, aggregate shoulder (modified); HMA and aggregate approaches; monument adjustment; temporary and permanent pavement marking; and maintaining traffic.
