Site work, remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Bremerton, Washington. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.

The work includes providing a 1200 amp, 480 volt, 3-phase switchboard with1200 amp main breaker. Switchboard shall include the following: 6-adjustable trip 3 Pole circuit breakers with trip range from 125 to 400 amps. All breakers shall include LSIG/Ground-Fault settings and have adequate short circuit rating as indicated per required contractor provided coordination/short study. The switchboard location is less than 200 feet from substation C. At Substation C, the breaker at C-I-C is currently set for 2400 amps, modify setting to 1200 amps, and provide an overhead circuit as indicated from breaker C-1-C, a 3 phase, 480volt, 1200amp circuit to the switchboard. Circuit shall consists of three parallel circuits in 4" Rigid Metal Conduit (RMC) each as indicated. Maximum distance between horizontal conduit supports shall be 10 ft. as indicated. Note that, Vertical racks for conduit runs on outside of building were installed at approximately 18 feet off the ground by the customer for contractor's use for the installation of new conduit runs as indicated. The new meter in switchboard shall connect to the existing AMI system infrastructure switch that is in Substation C. Provide Ethernet CAT6e cable in 2" RMC conduit from the infrastructure switch in substation C to connect the meter in switchboard as indicated. Customer survey of ceiling material found no hazards material present in ceiling. Contractor shall Provide per UFC 3-501-01 a coordination/short study/recommendations for all circuit breaker settings/ratings. Government will provide proposed loads for switchboard within 30 days after award. Scope also includes incidental related work. This project shall be executed as a Design-Bid-Build. Note that Electrical Installation shall be complete and useable and conform to the NEC, and other applicable industry and UFC Standards.
