Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Collierville, Tennessee. Conceptual plans call for site work for a fire / police facility; and for the construction of a 14,050-square-foot, two-story above grade fire / police facility.

This project will provide the Fire Department with an additional 14,050 sq. ft. firehouse in accordance with the fire department's long-range planning efforts. The firehouse was to be built in conjunction with the Byhalia Road corridor and will be located on Shelby Drive east of Sycamore across from the new Collierville High School/Athletic Campus. The facility will consist of a twostory firehouse with living quarters upstairs and a three-bay, drive-through fire apparatus bay, ambulances, and technical rescue. Construction will take approximately 16-18 months. Construction price is based upon $450 sq/ft. As required by Tennessee statute, the Town will contract with a roofing consultant (licensed engineer) to prepare bid documents for soliciting bids. The project is include in the City's 2023-2024 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
