Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Sharpsville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

Scope of work shall include the furnishing and installation of the following items and all associated labor, equipment, materials, permits, and approvals not specifically listed but required to complete the project: 1. 50 ft x 80 ft pole building (clear span) 14 ft height from concrete floor (6" thick) to bottom of trusses 2. 6x6 treated posts (spaced according to codes/building permits), 2x4 wall girts & roof purlins on 2 foot centers, 2x8 treated skirt (treated lumber shall be suitable for continual contact with the ground) 3. All construction and materials listed are minimum requirements. If spacing, sizing or other requirements are needed for permitting, the contractor shall provide all other related items. 4. Headers, trusses, band boards, bracing, brackets, etc. to be designed and installed as required by codes/permits 5. 29 gauge painted steel siding and roofing - hardware to be stainless steel or approved equal 6. Steel siding to be tan (match vinyl siding of adjacent building), steel roof to be white - submit color samples to the Borough for review and approval 7. Roof to be common truss style for the full length of the building 8. 1 foot gable and eve overhangs on all sides, white vented vinyl soffit and fascia, steel ridge vent (match roof color) 9. White trim around doorways and on building corners - match soffit and fascia color 10. White aluminum seamless gutters with downspouts to daylight 11. Two 36"x80" white insulated steel locking man door with window (window size to be 24"x18" min) opener shall be knob style, doorway shall be installed at proper elevation to allow for 6-inch concrete floor 12. Three 12' wide x 12' high, and two 14' wide x 14' high white, steel, insulated, locking, overhead panel doors with garage door openers. 13. Windows in overhead doors to be located one panel down from the top panel (window size to be min 1/2 size of panel) 14. Locks on overhead doors to be interior manual slider locks 15. Site has existing gravel ground cover which shall remain 16. Grading shall be completed of the site to allow for 6-inch thick concrete floor and to allow for proper drainage - coordinate with Borough Superintendent 17. All materials shall be in new condition 18. Insulation and electrical are all excluded from this scope of work 19. Design to be submitted to the Borough for a 30 day review/comment period, prior to submitting permits 20. Material submittals (colors, grades, dimensions, etc) shall be submitted to the Borough for review and approval 21. Signed, sealed plans & all permits to be submitted to the Borough after all comments are addressed and prior to starting any work 22. All permit fees shall be paid by the Contractor 23. Building shall be installed in the location shown on the attached map, with doorways located as shown, and in coordination with Borough personnel and permitting agencies 24. Contractor shall coordinate all inspections with proper agencies during the installation of the building and be responsible for any/all fees associated with such inspections 25. Contract price shall be lump sum, include all work required to complete the tasks outlined above, and include any/all work not specifically outlined but required to complete the building installation. Bids must be submitted as outlined in the advertisement and be in sealed envelopes. 26. Any variances from the above items (materials, design, etc.) shall be clearly stated on the bid submittal 27. Ten percent payment shall be paid up front, forty percent shall be paid upon receiving permit approvals, the remainder of payment shall be made based on the percentage of work completed, and the Borough shall retain ten percent of project costs completed to date until the project is deemed acceptable by the Owner and all permits obtained/satisfied. 28. Project is being funded by local funds, projects over $25,000 require current state wage rates to be applied, all work to be completed 120 calendar days from the date on the Notice to Proceed, or liquidated damages in the amount of $100 per calendar day apply 29. Project site is located at 30 Canal Street, Sharpsville, PA.
