As of Februar 13, 2024, project was awarded to W.D Wright Contracting, awarded amount is $297,268.30 2024 City of Jeannette School Street Reconstruction Project. Mandatory Questions: All questions in this section of the questionnaire must be answered by each bidder for each proposal. Division II must be submitted with the proposal Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check payable to the City of Jeannette, a bid bond, or negotiable U.S. Government Bond, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid for this contract, in accordance with the provisions of the contract documents. Upon award, the successful contractor will be required to provide a Performance Bond, Labor and Material Bond for the full amount of the contract. Upon completion of the project, the contractor will be required to submit an 18-month Maintenance Bond for the contract. Anticipated beginning construction date is April 15, 2024. The City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids for a valid reason; and/or to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time, specified materials or changes in the work. The City also has the right to reject all nonconforming, non-responsive, contradictory or conditional bids.
