Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Jeannette, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; for the construction of a parking garage; and parking garage.
*As of October 17, 2024 this project has been cancelled and will put it out for bid at a later date.* The Project consist of constructing a Fire Station Garage at 2nd Street / Clay Avenue complete with a parking lot, stormwater management system and additional site features. An alternate bid will include the construction of an adjoining headquarters facility. Bids may be held by the City of Jeannette for a period of forty five (45) days from the date of opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the Contract. Each proposal shall be accompanied by security in the form of a certified check or bid bond payable to the order of City of Jeannette in the amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid in accordance with provisions of the Contract Documents. The City of Jeannette reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities in the biddings. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
