**As of April 8, 2024, the project was awarded to Transportation Solutions & Lighting of Boca Raton, Florida in the amount of $392,423.00.** The successful proposer shall replace the existing light fixtures as per the construction drawings attached as Exhibit A. There are seventy-seven (77) light poles at Founders Park which are included in the scope of the Project. The existing light fixtures shall be removed, discarded by the Contractor and replaced with the proposed solar light fixture, or approved equivalent. The new fixtures must be solar powered, and capable of being installed on existing light poles based on manufacturer recommendations, complying with NEC 410.6 and rated for 180 MPH, exposure D wind loads. Additional information including the structural assessment, site plan, and photos of each pole is attached as Exhibit B. Islamorada, Village of Islands (the "Village"), will receive formal proposals from qualified proposers to provide services needed to replace the solar street light fixtures on existing light poles throughout Founders Park To be eligible for selection consideration, a submittal package must contain all documentation detailed in Section VII of this document. Proposers must submit one (1) original printed package and three (3) printed copies, and one (1) electronic copy provided by email attachment or cloud storage link. The printed documents shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope and be plainly marked on the upper left-hand corner with the name and address of the contractor and bear the following title: Islamorada, Village of Islands "Founders Park Solar Street Light Fixtures Replacement Project (RFP 24-02)."
