**As of February 21, 2024, This project has been awarded to Lantz Construction Company, with the awarded amount of $17,311.18.** Overhead Door Replacement for Fire Station No. 6. Offerors shall not propose any questions to City staff during the site visit. All questions regarding the solicitation shall be submitted to Stanley Wells, Senior Buyer at stanley.wells@roanokeva.gov. Furnish all equipment, materials, goods, labor, and services necessary for the purchase and installation of one (1) overhead roll up door at Fire Station No. 6 in accordance with the Scope of Work PROVIDE AND INSTALL NEW GATE: 1. The successful Bidder shall furnish all equipment, materials, goods, labor, and services necessary for providing and installing one (1) overhead roll-up door to replace a damaged door at Fire Station No. 6 located at 1333 Jamison Avenue, Roanoke, Virginia 24013. The door must be an exact match to the brown existing door. No parts from the old door shall be disposed of until all of the usable parts have been harvested and approved by the City's Structural Supervisor. 2. All equipment and materials shall be delivered within ten (10) weeks following issuance of a Notice to Proceed. The old door shall be removed and new door installed within 24 hours to keep the fire station secure. The successful Bidder may return on the second day to make any adjustments as needed. 3. The successful Bidder shall remove and properly dispose of all unusable parts from the current gate. Removal of the existing door and the installation of the new door shall be planned and coordinated with Fire-EMS. 4. The successful Bidder shall assemble and install all door hardware. 5. The successful Bidder shall test the door thoroughly to ensure it operates correctly, before the door can be considered completely installed. 6. The successful Bidder shall conduct a final inspection with representatives from the Facilities Division and Fire-EMS. 7. The successful Bidder agrees that the goods or services furnished under any award resulting from this solicitation shall be covered by the most favorable commercial warranties the successful Bidder give any customer for such goods or services and that the rights and remedies provided therein are in addition to and to not limit those available to the City by any other clause of thissolicitation and rights and remedies permitted under applicable law. No substitutions will be considered. A copy of the manufacturer's specifications is attached as Attachment C to this RFQ. b. The assembled door shall measure 13' - 10" x 14' to match the adjacent existing door exactly. c. The overhead door shall have a solid bottom and top sections with the rest of the panels, full view 1/8" single pain glass to match the adjacent existing door exactly. d. The powder coat color shall be C.H.I. Overhead Door brown (RAL#8028) to match the adjacent door exactly
