**As of March 8, 2024, the project was awarded to Preman Roofing but the awarded amount is not available.** This project will consist of the removal of the existing roof system from the deck. The contractor will install new roofing. The District will be providing TREMCO products, already purchased separately via a CMAS contract, for the new roof. The contractor will be responsible for receiving and storing the already purchased roofing materials. License Requirement: B- General Building Contractor or C39- Roofing Contractor Estimated bid cost: $300,000.00 + $25,000.00 Allowance Contract Dates: 3/8/2024 - 12/31/2024 On-site construction dates: 3/8/2024 - 12/31/2024 This is a public works project. Contractors should use prevailing wage to determine the labor costs. Contractors and subcontractors must have a DIR registration number. Each bid must be submitted with a Bid Bond executed by the bidder and Surety Company, or certified check, or cashier's check or cash, in an amount equal to 10% of the bid. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a separate Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price, and each issued by a California-admitted surety. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 90 days after the date set for the opening of bids.
