There are three options to the scope of work for the Collier Park Spring House. Bidding contractors must submit a bid that includes the cost for each option with all work described below. Base Bid Option 1 - Prime and paint all exterior areas as-is. Exterior areas include exterior plaster walls, half-timbering, exterior trim, fascia boards, eaves and exterior face of doors. Do not disturb existing paint coating or plaster walls - no chipping or other methods of removing existing coatings. Alternate Option 2 - Remove existing paint to exterior plaster walls, half-timbering, exterior trim, fascia boards, eaves and exterior face of doors. Prime and paint as-is all the areas mentioned in the previous sentence. Alternate Option 3 - Remove existing paint to exterior plaster walls, half-timbering, exterior trim, fascia boards, eaves and exterior face of doors. Repair fire damaged areas of framing at north wall and eave. Repair cracked, deteriorated, and missing areas of exterior plaster. Repair deteriorated half-timbering with wood consolidate. Repair all deteriorated exterior trim, fascia boards and eaves. Prime and paint all exterior areas. The Collier Park Spring House is designated as an historic landmark and all work done to the building must comply with historic preservation standards. A Historical Structural Assessment & Rehabilitation Scoping (HSA) prepared in 2022 has been included in the bid packet that provides guidance for exterior wall stabilization.
