Remodeling and renovation of an industrial development in South Salt Lake, Utah. Completed plans call for the remodel of a industrial development; and for the renovation of a industrial development.

As of April 10, 2024 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded in the end of May, 2024. The Utah Transit Authority ("UTA") is soliciting qualifications from interested construction firms and intends to contract with a Contractor to remodel the existing building and provide site improvements to the property located at 2340 South 900 West South Salt Lake City Utah. Project shall also include options to finish and install items such as, furniture, owner provided items, exercise equipment and A/V items as funds allow. 1. Vendor Must Submit a current W-9 2. UTA Tax Exempt Form Construction 3. All Questions and Answers must be asked through SciQuest during the Q&A period. 4. Any Design or Construction Contracts MUST Read and Comply with Utah Code 17B-2a-818.5. The prime contract value threshold is $2,000,000 or greater and the subcontract value threshold is $1,000,000. These values also cover change orders that increase the value of the original contract. Project Start Date 3/01/2024 Estimated Deadline to submit Questions and Request for Approved Equals or Changes to UTA January 25, 2024, 2:00 pm MST Contract Administrator for this Contract is Vicki Woodward, or designee. All questions and correspondence relating to the contractual aspects of this Contract should be directed to said Contract Administrator, or designee PROJECT GOALS 1. Safety and quality of construction. 2. Complete the Project within the defined scope, schedule, and budget. 3. Provide a completed Project that is functional, free of defects, meets expected useful life, is durable and conforms to the Project specifications and industry standards. CONTRACT SCHEDULE The Contractor shall identify in its proposal the schedule or timeframe anticipated to complete the project and should include plan and permit approvals, submittals, coordination with utility companies, all construction activities for the building and site, commissioning and final acceptance. The Contractor shall also identify any long lead items or equipment that impacts the project schedule. The Contractor shall provide a project schedule with a brief narrative of the status of work completed and upcoming work, along with a monthly estimate of cash flow for the project until completion. UTA's goal is to complete the project in 18 months or less. PROPOSAL FORMAT Proposals must adhere to the following format: o Proposals should be formatted primarily to 8 1/2 by 11 inches. 11 by 17-inch format may be used for charts, tables, and schedules. No text should be included on 11 by 17-inch size format except for text that is required for the interpretation of the chart, table, or schedule. o Proposals should use a minimum of 12-point font. o If a Proposal is submitted in double-sided format, both sides of the page will be counted against the Page Limit. o The Proposal must not exceed the Page Limit shown on the RFP Cover Sheet. The Proposer shall not submit brochures or additional materials. Hyperlinks will be counted towards the page limit unless specified as exempt. At its discretion, UTA will not consider such additional materials in the selection of the successful Proposer. o Maximum file upload size in Sciquest is 50mb. Failure to follow the format described above may result in the Proposal being deemed nonresponsive.
