Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hopkins, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes the construction of approximately: ITEM QTY UNIT Bituminous Pavement 5,000 TON Aggregate Base CL 5 7,500 TON Concrete Curb & Gutter 9,500 LIN FT Concrete Driveway & Walk 6,000 SQ YD Common Excavation 15,000 CU YD Sanitary Sewer Pipe 3,000 LIN FT Sanitary Sewer Lining 1,000 LIN FT Watermain Pipe 3,500 LIN FT Storm Sewer Pipe 2,000 LIN FT Select Granular Borrow 11,000 TON together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. COMPLETION OF WORK: All work under the Contract must be substantially complete by 10/25/2024. BID SECURITY: A Proposal Bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of City of Hopkins shall accompany each bid. OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED: The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby.
