The Board of Trustees of West Ada School District is requesting bids for Seven Oaks Elementary Playground Improvements, 1441 N. Seven Oaks Way, Meridian, ID 83642. Questions regarding this proposal must be submitted through Electronically. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered and no bidder may withdraw his/her bid after the deadline or before award unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any bid alternates is required. Bidders shall be licensed in the State of Idaho, in accordance with provisions of an act known as Public Works Contractors State License Law, Title 54, Chapter 19, Idaho Code Amended. The Term Public Works Contractors includes the general, sub, or specialty contractor. The bidders name must agree to the name on the public works license that is referenced in the bid. The Board of Trustees of Joint School District No. 2 reserves the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive or conditional bids, to waive any minor informality/irregularity, to reject all bids, or to accept the bid or bids it deems best. The new pathway includes stairs with handrails connecting the preferred access point of the building to the new playground. The construction of the new playground consists of new playground equipment, concrete flatwork, curbing, and synthetic turf.
