**As of February 14, 2024 project was awarded to Dudley Moore Flooring , awarded amount is $129,869.35** Work includes full renovation of restrooms, custodial closets, and water fountains found on the 300 and 400 Hallways of Cross Creek Elementary School during the summer of 2024. The 500 Hallway of same school shall serve as the basis of design for this project. The project will include the removal of all tile and plumbing fixtures including toilets, lavatories, mop sinks, and water fountains found on the 300 and 400 Hallways and the installation of new tile and fixtures. Plumbing work will be bid as a separate package. Labor includes demolishing existing wall tile, the drywall and sound board insulation behind the wall tile, and the floor tile, and the installation of new sound board panels, new water resistant drywall, and new floor tile, trim pieces and wall tile as listed in Exhibit A. All demolished material shall be placed in a school-system supplied dumpster. Labor shall include all work required to complete the project including all demolition and floor prep. Work Location: Cross Creek Elementary School 324 Clark Road Thomasville, GA 31757 The tile contractor will be expected to coordinate his work schedule with the plumbing contractor and the school district. The school district will serve as the project manager for the overall job. Time is of the essence in completing this job as all work must be accomplished during the summer vacation and must be completed in time for the school district to clean the hallways after work has been completed before teachers return to work for the 2024-2025 school year. The remainder of the school site not involved in renovations will be in operation during the summer. Work must be scheduled to avoid disruptions to the operations of the remainder of the school between 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM. The last day for students for the 2022-2023 school year will be Friday, May 17. Teachers will work through Tuesday, May 21. Demolition of plumbing fixtures may begin as early as Saturday, May 18, and must begin no later than Monday, May 20. To facilitate flooring and tile work, plumbers must complete the removal of all plumbing fixtures on the 300 Hallway by Monday, May 27. Tile demolition and replacement will begin as soon as plumbing demolition is complete. The removal of fixtures on the 400 Hallway must be completed by Cross Creek Elementary School Restroom Renovations 2024 - Floor and Wall Tile Package Page 2 of 2 Monday, June 10.
