The City of Sierra Vista is requesting quotes from qualified, licensed contractors (when applicable) who can provide the goods and services specified in this Request for Quotation. Quotes shall be valid for 90 Days after the bid opening date DESCRIPTION OF GOODS and/or SERVICES:RFQ SPORTS FIELD FENCING. The City of Sierra Vista is soliciting quotes to purchase and install chain link fencing and pedestrian gates at two of the City's sports complexes: Veterans Memorial Park Sports Complex, 3105 E. Fry Boulevard, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635 and Tacoma Street Sports Complex, Stone 1, 3308-3598 E. Tacoma, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635. The successful bidder must have been in the business of providing the services described in this RFQ for the period of three (3) years. This RFQ may request at least two references of other government agencies or districts where similar services were performed who can vouch for your work performance Question Submission Deadline:January 24, 2024, 5:00pm VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK SPORTS COMPLEX: Install ~375 feet of new 8' chain link fence with top and bottom rail. Using 2 3/8" line posts and 2 7/8" terminal posts. Top and bottom rail will be 1 5/8" tubing. Fencing to match existing Veterans Memorial Park Sports Complex fence line. Install one 5ft pedestrian gate entrance to MLK Multi use path where sidewalk currently exists. TACOMA STREET SPORTS COMPLEX (STONE 1) Replace ~220 feet of 3ft chain link fence with 6ft chain link fence. Dugout sections excluded. See attached diagram (RED LINE). (9GA chain-link). Add two 3ft ped gates. Replace ~140 feet of 6ft chain link fence with 6GA 6ft chain link. See attached diagram. (Yellow Line) Replace ~70 ft of 10ft high backstop with 6GA chain link. Request bidders measure to ensure accuracy of quote for project. Expected Date of Delivery:April 30, 2024
