Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Marysville, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project consists of building a new sewage pumping station on a site owned by the City and generally consisting of the following aspects: A pump building including separate rooms for electrical, chemical handling and biofilter. Major equipment associated with the facility include dry-pit submersible pumps, bioxide chemical feed system, biofilter odor control system, standby generator, onsite utilities, site development and paving, site piping landscaping, and related systems. The project also includes extending a new gravity sewer from the existing pump station nearby. The engineer's estimate for construction is $9,500,000. General, Mechanical, and Electrical Work indicated by the Contract Documents necessary for a fully functional system. The creation of Digital IDs/Signatures assures the City knows the creator of the bid (forgery resistance), ensures that nobody can alter a bid (non-repudiation), prevents bid disclosure to unauthorized parties (secrecy) and safeguards that authorized parties cannot access the bid prior to the public opening (sealing). Bidders shall provide proof of qualifications, to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders and complete the Best Bidder Information Form provided. Bidders shall comply with all statutory requirements in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All Bids must include payment of wages at prevailing wage rates pursuant to Ohio Revised Code (ORC), Section 4115-15 and shall comply with the provisions, duties and obligations of ORC Section 4115. Further information provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Each Bidder must deposit with its Bid, a Bid Guaranty in the form of either a bond for an amount of 100% of the Bid if in the form of a Bid Guaranty or in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid if in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit, for and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders and pursuant with ORC Section 153.54, 153.57 and 153.571. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety or via the electronic bid bond options available on website. A Pre-Bid conference will be held at 1:30 PM, eastern time on February 7, 2024, via videoconference. Full details of accessing the videoconference and agenda will be posted to Bid Express. Question Deadline Feb 14, 2024, at 4:30 PM All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer online. Questions submitted after this date and time will not be answered.
