City of Eden is planning to upgrade all equipment in the council chambers. A copy of the RFP is attached to the posting. The purpose of this request for proposal (RFP) is to invite prospective vendors to submit a quote for an audio system upgrade solution. City of Eden is planning to upgrade all audio equipment in the council chambers. The city is seeking a service provider to develop and implement the upgrade. All proposals must include equipment, installation, support services, warranty information on both products and labor, and training for city staff. The following is a listing of our current audio equipment: o DBX 2215 Equalizer/Limiter o Sabine Adaptive Audio FBX Feedback Exterminator o Furman Power Sequencer o Two (2) Shure SCM810 Eight Channel Automatic Microphone Mixer o One (1) Carver Professional PXm250 Power Amplifier o One (1) Carver Professional PX1450 Power Amplifier o Eleven (11) Shure MX 418/C Microphones w/ 40-112 Astatic Base o Two (2) Shure MX 418D/C Microphones o Nady ALD 800 Listening Assistance System o Thirty-Five (35) Tannoy MDL# ICT65MM Speakers The objectives of this project include but are not limited to: o Replace all audio equipment including thirteen (13) goose neck microphones capable of capturing audio from turning heads as individuals may turn siting at the dais to talk with each other. o Install new DSP processor/controller. o Install new 18U A/V rack. o Install new equipment in the A/V closet to make all equipment easily accessible. Install a total of 27 new ceiling-recessed speakers. These speakers shall be divided into four zones: Zone 1 - Dais, Zone 2 - Lectern & Tables, Zone 3 - In-Room audience, Zone 4 - Overflow divisible/combinable room. o Install new hearing-impaired system compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines. o Install a 2-gang wall plate that will include four (4) XLR-M connectors to feed line level audio to the press or streaming services. The exact location for the wall plate will be determined at the time of installation. o Create a system that is easy to use for single operators daily. o The system must also support future expansion to include video services. o Selected vendor must not have had a cybersecurity incident in the past six months.
