Reference Number 0000262951 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/01/31 11:59:00 PM CST The Contractor shall take care to ensure that no damage is done in performance of their services, paying particular attention to trees, shrubs, and building exteriors. Should damage occur, the Contractor shall report such to the Owner and will be responsible for repairing such damage to the satisfaction of the Owner. Should the Contractor fail to repair such damage in a timely manner or to the satisfaction of the Owner, the Owner will have the authority to proceed with the required repairs, at the cost of the Contractor. The Contractor will repair at its own cost and expense any turf damaged while performing grass cutting and trimming. The repairs shall be performed by applying and levelling topsoil and seeding the repaired areas with grass seed conforming to Canada No. 1 mixture of 60% Kentucky Bluegrass and 30% Creeping Red Fescue and 10% Perennial Rye seeded at the rate of 1.0 kg per 135 square meters. The Contractor, while performing grass cutting and trimming, shall remove and dispose of any litter scattered by lawn care equipment. For areas that cannot be trimmed or cleared with large equipment, mechanical or hand equipment shall be used. Clippings are to be removed from turf areas, pathways, and pavement. The Contractor shall be responsible to remove grass clippings from the Owner's property. For the 2024 season, the Contractor shall work in conjunction with the contracted Golf Superintendent to maintain appropriate grass cutting schedules. The Golf Superintendent shall be responsible for overseeing seeding, fertilizing, water/irrigation, bunker maintenance, driving range ball collecting, whipper-snipping, tree and branch removal, general maintenance, and weed control under a separate contract with Southport Aerospace Centre Inc. The Contractor and Superintendent shall work collaboratively to ensure grounds operations standards are met. 1 the Contractor is Responsible for the Provision of All Labour, Services, Equipment, Tools, Materials, Supplies, and Auxiliary Services Required to Complete the Work Unless Indicated Otherwise in the Scope of Work. 2 the Owner Assumes No Liability for the Loss, Theft, or Disappearance of the Contractors Tools and Equipment While on the Owners Premises. 3 Contractor Personnel Must Remain in the Immediate Vicinity of Their Work Area Unless Escorted by the Owner and Must Not Enter Any Controlled or Restricted Areas. The Contractor Must Be Aware That Access to the Airside is Restricted. Arrangements for Airside Access May Be Made Through the Owner's Offices. Damages 4 All Work Completed Under This Contract Shall Be Executed in a Proficient and Substantial Manner, Neat in Its Appearance and Arrangements. 5 the Contractor Shall Be Responsible for Any Damage Resulting From Their Operation to Existing Property and Fixtures, Such as but Not Limited to Communication Equipment, Building Structures and Equipment, and Services. 6 the Contractor Shall Restore, Replace, or Repair Any Such Damage at Their Own Expense and to the Complete Satisfaction of the Owner. Should Repairs Be Made Not to the Satisfaction of the Owner, the Owner Reserves the Right to Have the Repairs Made by an Alternate Source. The Costs for Repairs May Then Be Charged Back to the Contractor, Inclusive of Taxes and an Administration Fee. Amounts Owing by the Owner Under the Contract May Be Offset by the Amount of the Charge Back for Damages. 7 the Contractor, Upon Completion of the Work, Shall Ensure That All Areas in Which They Have Worked Are Left in a Clean and Tidy Condition to the Satisfaction of the Owner. Should Outside Services Be Required, the Contractor Will Be Charged. During Progress of the Work, the Contractor is Responsible That the Work Does Not Interfere With That of Others in the Area. The agreement will be for a term of seven (7) months, or one (1) golf season commencing April 1st, 2024 and terminating October 31st, 2024.
