**As of March 26,2024, bids were canceled. No definite date for the rebid.** If awarded the contract, the contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a labor and material payment bond in the amount of 100% the total contract amount. (2 separate bonds) Main Pump Station Valve Replacement Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond equal to 5% of the bid amount. Such Bid bond or check shall be submitted with the understanding that it shall guarantee that the bidder will not withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids, The owner reserves the right to reject any bid if evidence submitted by or investigation of such bidder fails to satisfy the owner that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to complete the work contemplated therein. An addendum to answer questions will be issued on March 15, 2024.
