Site work for a water / sewer project in Colonial Heights, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project consists of structural repairs to the main sanitary sewer pump station, located at 2701 Conduit Road, Colonial Heights VA. The Wastewater Pumping Station Structural Repair project consists of structural repairs including, but not limited to installation of: Steel Members Neoprene Pads Shim Plates Bolts Anchors Paint System Any questions on this project, should be emailed to Larry Melvin, Purchasing Agent, MelvinL@colonialheightsva.gov by 5:00 PM EDT March 27, 2024. An addendum to answer questions will be issued on March 29, 2024. The successful bidder shall commence work within seven (7) days after the Notice to Proceed is given to him by the City. Once the Notice to Proceed has been issued, the successful bidder shall complete all work within 60 calendar days from issuance of the notice to proceed. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond equal to 5% of the bid amount. If awarded the contract, the contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a labor and material payment bond in the amount of 100% the total contract amount. (2 separate bonds). The performance bond and labor and material payment bond shall be approved by the City Attorney.
