City of Dawson Springs is requesting responses to this Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified firms interested in providing engineering services in connection with a FEMA community safe room sized for 500 people, to be constructed in Dawson Springs, Hopkins County, Kentucky. The type of engineering work expected to be performed is for a FEMA tornado community safe room in compliance with all FEMA Funding Criteria set forth in FEMA publication FEMA P-361, Safe Rooms for Tornadoes and Hurricanes: Guidance for Community and Residential Safe Rooms (2021). City of Dawson Springs reserves the right to reject any or all responses and to solicit again at a later date. City of Dawson Springs may waive any irregularities in the proposal or negotiate variances from specifications, and to make awards in the City of Dawson Springs’ sole discretion, and are in the best interests of City of Dawson Springs.
