Renovation of a day care center in Dawson Springs, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a day care center.

The project consists of multiple buildings on campus: RLC - Removal and replacement of vented deck and shingle roofs + Mod Bit roof overlay & associated sheet metal accessories. Classrooms, Leasing Office (Alternate #2) & three (3) Cottages Removal of shingles and replacement of new vented deck, shingles, and associated sheet metal accessories. Workshop (Alternate #1) & two (2) Cottages Removal and replacement of shingle roofs & associated sheet metal accessories. Estimated Length of Project: 120 (Substantial Completion) + 30 (Final Completion) All bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee (in the form of a bid bond or certified check) of not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the lump sum base bid. A 100% Performance Bond and a separate 100% Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder. All bonding and insurance requirements are contained in the Instructions to Bidders and/or General Conditions. Bonds should be executed by a surety company authorized to do business by the Kentucky Secretary of State and the Kentucky Department of Insurance within the Commonwealth of Kentucky The Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, Commonwealth of Kentucky, reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive all informalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Commonwealth may be served. No questions will be answered at the site visit. All technical questions shall be emailed to the architect/engineer of record for this project. All procurement questions shall be directed to buyer of record for this project.
