** As of February 22, 2024.This project has been awarded to Yost Excavating.** The project work will consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment to repair the existing streambank erosion along Beal Slough near 40th and Nebraska Parkway. Construction per the plans and specifications shall include streambank repair, A-jack removal, excavation, installation of rock riprap, erosion and sediment control, seeding and incidental items. Bids shall be on an Unit Price basis. A pre-bid conference will not be held. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. Streambank stabilization activities including channel clearing, a-jacks removal, installation of riprap and erosion control blanket, and seeding Project Location: SE 1/4 of Section 7, Township 9, Range 7E, of the 6th P.M A pre-bid conference will not be held. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. Each successful bidder shall supply a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond executed by a corporate surety licensed in the State of Nebraska in an amount equal to 100 percent of the contract price as part of his contract. The LPSNRD reserves the right to accept any bid which it deems most advantageous to the LPSNRD, and to reject any or all bids submitted and to hold as many bids as it desires for consideration for a period of forty-five (45) days after the bids are open. The work will be substantially completed on or before April 26, 2024 and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before May 3, 2024. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
