Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kentwood, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following: 14,000 feet of trail improvements including crushing and shaping existing asphalt, paving hot mix asphalt, repairing or replacing chain link fence, clearing, replacing boardwalk decking and railing, installing root preventative fabric, installing permanent signage, installing benches, and installing trash and recycling receptacles. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to City of Kentwood in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of sixty (60) days after the receipt of bids. The project shall be complete by August 01, 2025. The Contractor shall have 7 weeks (49 calendar days) to complete the work once started.
