The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in the Contract Documents. This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the Contract Documents, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of Work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids. Actual quantities of Work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the City Engineer and/or his designee. The work may consist of but is not limited to: Widen the northbound SR-14 Freeway mainline, Widen SB & NB off-ramps at the Palmdale Boulevard Interchange, Modify the two (2) loop on-ramps, Intersection improvements which includes curb and gutter, sidewalks, retaining walls, drainage improvements, traffic signals, street lighting, Irrigation and landscape, and signing and striping between Avenue R and Avenue Q on SR 14 and on Palmdale Boulevard from 5th Street West and Division Street. The work is estimated to cost approximately $34,000,000 and shall be completed in 435 working days.
