The project is located at Grizzly Island Wildlife Area, Solano County, California. The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, incidentals, permits and taxes necessary to repair a hunter check station and other miscellaneous improvements, as outlined in the Items of Work. License Requirements: A or B with the following requirement: C-22 License or ASB Asbestos Certification If the Bidding Contractor does not possess the required license or certification, then the Bidding Contractor shall subcontract with a contractor having the said license. Participation in Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Program (DVBE): The minimum DVBE participation percentage goal is 3%. Failure to fulfill the DVBE requirement will render your bid non-responsive. DVBE Incentive: For evaluation purposed only, an incentive will be given to bidders who exceed the 3% DVBE participation requirements. Refer to the Instructions to Bidders. Small Business Preference and Small business Subcontractor participation: A five percent (5%) Small business Preference will be granted to properly certified small businesses (a completed STD 811 must be submitted with the bid proposal).
