The successful bidder shall furnish a bid bond, a payment bond and a performance bond, Materials & Labor Bond, and a one -year warranty bond when work is completed. The Contractor and all subcontractors shall possess a valid Suisun City business license prior to start of work. No pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this project. For bonding purposes, the Engineers Estimate is $330,000. The Driftwood Drive Path Gap Closure Project is located in Suisun City, partially fronting Crystal Middle School. In general, the Project consists of continuing construction of a 10-foot-wide concrete Class I bikeway along the south side of Driftwood Drive from a point approximately 200 feet west of Marina Boulevard to the Driftwood Drive/Marina Boulevard intersection. This path segment will close the gap between the existing 10-foot bikeway and the Grizzly Island Trail The Project will also include, but not limited to, removing and installing sidewalk and curb/gutter; upgrading curb ramps to ADA-compliant curb ramps; striping and pavement markings; and storm drain improvements that include catch basins, underground pipe, storm drain manhole and repaving for surface drainage purposes. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 1770 et seq. of the Labor Code of California, the Director of Industrial Relations for the State of California has ascertained the current general prevailing rate of wages for employer purposes, in Solano County, State of California.
