The period for ending questions shall be February 9, 2024 at noon. IMPORTANT NOTE: Indicate firm name, which is County of Davidson. The RFP number, which is above, on the front of each sealed proposal envelope or package, along with the date for receipt of proposals specified above. Direct all inquiries concerning this RFP to: Dwayne Childress Support Services Director (336) 242-2030 or Randy Mitchell Facilities Manager (336) 300-0251 The Contract shall cover the period from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, which is for one-year, upon mutual agreement the contract may be extended up to four, one-year periods making this a five-year contract. This is assuming the contractor will successfully complete all tasks every month every year. This Contract may be renewed at the expiration of the initial term at the request of the County. No later than, January 30 of every year and is set by mutual agreement. Scope of Work: As Amended August 15, 2023 Comply / Do Not Comply 3.1 Each site shall be mowed no less than weekly during the growing season. 3.2 Each site shall be trimmed/edged/weed-eat for that site at least weekly during the growing season. 3.3 Each site shall be clean of litter prior to mowing (all mowing services and all parking lots) for that site at least weekly. 3.4 Each site shall be sprayed with herbicide on an as needed basis. 3.5 Copy of herbicide license must be included with bid documents. 3.6 Concrete areas for each site shall be blown off or swept clean after mowing has been completed. 3.7 All beds shall be re-needled twice a year. a. No later than, May 31 of every year. b. No later than, the 3 rd week of October of every year just before the BBQ Festival. 3.8 Pruning for all trees/plants/shrubs shall be done twice a year. 3.9 Leaf removal shall be at least weekly. 3.10 Left blank. 3.11 Left blank. 3.12 For services performed the County will receive invoices on a monthly basis, name and address furnished later. 3.13 Pre-bid conference is mandatory, date and time is listed above. 3.14 One contract will be awarded for each site, each site's price must be listed separately one all invoices. 3.15 Reference page with the last three jobs, which work as been completed. Including name, addresses, and phone number. 3.16 No subcontracting, unless pre-approved in writing. 3.17 The Facilities Maintenance Manager shall be the Contract Administrator. 3.18 Left Blank- Questions and Inquiries Questions and inquiries, both verbal and written, will be accepted from any and all offerors. The Division of Procurement is the sole point of contact for this solicitation unless otherwise instructed herein. Unauthorized contact with other County staff regarding the RFP may result in the disqualification of the offeror. Inquiries pertaining to the Request for Proposal must give the RFP number, title, and acceptance date. Material questions will be answered in writing with an Addendum. It is the responsibility of all offerors to ensure that they have received all addendums. Addendums can be downloaded from webiste.
