Renovation of a municipal facility in Santa Maria, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of March 5, 2024 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award was not yet been established. DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK - The work comprises of the following: o Airfield safety and security including airport access / badging, access gate management, path of travel management, work site delineation, and debris management (foreign object debris - FOD). o Roof repair / replacement including removal of existing roofs and insulation and installation of new insulation and roof, all in accordance with the technical specifications. o Remove and Replace Roof o Remove and Replace Roof Sheathing Panels The type of contractor's license required is General Building "B", or C-39 (Roofing). CONTRACT TIME - 30 calendar days. The intent of the contract is to provide for construction and completion, in every detail, of the work described. It is further intended that the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the contract. Question Deadline 02/14/2024 Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the plans and specifications or of the bidding or contract documents shall submit to the District Manager, at the address given in the bid proposal, a written request for an interpretation or correction thereof. The written request must be received at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the date fixed for opening of bids. The person making the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery.
