Remodeling of an educational facility in Ontario, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.
In general, the project consists of an approximately 38,000 SF addition on the south side of the building. As part of this addition there will be approximately 9,140 SF designated as a FEMA shelter. The 2nd addition located on the east side of building #2 will serve as a concession stand for the new athletic facility that was previously bid as part of bid pack #1. The balance of the project will consist of remodeling the interior of the existing building including but not limited to renovated science rooms, agricultural room, band room, choir room, tech ed room along with changing the one of the existing gymnasiums into a new auditorium/theater. The exterior work will consist of new parking, curb & gutter, site utilities, sidewalks, fencing, retaining walls, and landscaping. The Owner or Construction Manager may contract with the successful bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in any bid and to accept any bid which the Owner may determine to be in its best interest. Construction is expected to commence April 2024. Completion is expected August 2025. The value listed is that of the total project value.
