The City of Southgate requires Suppliers to design a play system that meets or exceeds all current federal CPSC, ASTM, IPEMA standards and ADA requirements. The proposals shall include the costs of delivered play systems as designed, inclusive of the equipment structures, components, hardware, detailed technical installation instructions and maintenance & operations manuals from manufacturer. All equipment will be assembled and installed by the Supplier. The contractor will be responsible for the removal of the existing playground and ramp system as well as grading of the existing site. All dirt spoils shall be graded around site to eliminate the need for removing spoils from the site. A new sidewalk is to be included to connect the playground to the main sidewalk on McCann Street. A concrete curb containment system is to be included around the playground at a minimum of 6" in width and 18" in depth.
