Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Seadrift, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Bids are invited for items and quantities of work as follows: The project shall consist of the installation of a new courtesy pier, bollards, mooring piers, limestone access and parking area, appropriate fill as required, and demolition and removal of the existing dock for a complete project in place. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Seadrift or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The project to be constructed will be financed with assistance from the TCEQ Grant Program & Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Council and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin. Adherence to the City of Seadrift Section 3 Policy is required for contracts and subcontracts in excess of $100,000.00. All contractors and subcontractors must be cleared (not suspended or debarred) prior to any formal action authorizing the award of a contract to the contractor. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, Section 3 Businesses, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit bids. The City of Seadrift reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bids and bidding, and reject non-conforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids.
