Renovation of a mixed-use development in Clinton, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The Project involves work on seven (7) of the district's campuses. In general, the project includes roof work. Project Locations: a. Northside/Eastside Elementary School : 453 Arrow Drive, Clinton, MS 39056. b. Clinton Park Elementary School : 501 Arrow Drive, Clinton, MS 39056. c. Clinton Public School District Bus Barn : 525 Springridge Road, Clinton, MS 39056. d. Clinton High School401 Arrow Drive, Clinton, MS 39056. e. Sumner Hill Junior High School : 400 W Northside Drive, Clinton, MS 39056. f. Lovett Elementary School : 2002 W Northside Drive, Clinton, MS 39056. g. Clinton Junior High School : 711 W Lakeview Drive, Clinton, MS 39056. C. Owner: Clinton Public School District, 201 Easthaven Drive, Clinton, MS 39060. Proposals shall be submitted in duplicate only upon the blank proposal forms provided with the specifications and must be accompanied by Proposal Security in the form of a Certified Check or acceptable Bid Bond in the amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the Base Bid: such security to be forfeited as liquidated damages, not penalty, by any bidder who fails to carry out the terms of the proposal, execute a contract and post-Performance and Payment Bonds in the form and amount within the time specified. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract completion date of December 1, 2024. The work is subject to liquidated damages. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. Bidders' Questions: Architect will provide responses at Prebid conference to bidders' questions received up to two business days prior to conference. 1.5 Documents A. Printed Procurement and Contracting Documents: Obtain after January, 24, 2024. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Event Bid description: Electronic bids are not required by the CPSD but offered as another means to submit a bid. Single stipulated sum bids will be received for all work required by the contract documents in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders Document notes: Bid Documents will only be made available to plan holders as entire documents. Partial sets will not be issued.
