Steel Fence Posts, Signs Posts, and Delineator Post This proposal shall be in effect for the period of March 1, 2024 to March 1, 2025. Bid prices may be extended for one (1) additional year by mutual consent of both parties. SPECIFICATIONS This proposal shall be for furnishing and delivering the annual requirements of Steel Post, Fence Posts, and Delineator Posts. All materials must meet the Michigan Department of Transportation 2020 Standard Specifications for Construction. The Steel Signs Posts (Painted) shall weigh three (3) pounds per foot of length and be of the "U" design commonly used for erecting traffic signs. Fence and Delineator posts will weigh 1.12 pounds per foot and be "U" type. All holes shall be 3/8" diameter, spaced at 1" centers. The Arenac County Road Commission will order Steel Posts by weight and length, to be delivered as needed. Minimum order will be one hundred (100) posts. Fence posts and delineator posts will be so designated. All bid prices shall include shipping and handling. All bid prices are to be F.O.B. Arenac County Road Commission garage located at 4271 Airpark Dr., Standish, Michigan. Proposals will be submitted on this bid form in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the outside as to its contents. The Arenac County Road Commission Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in the bids and to make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the County of Arenac.
