The work involves construction a 386 m3 WTP Expansion and upgrading the plant's treatment capacity from ~40 L/s to ~104 L/s by replacing the greens and filters and adding a new reverse osmosis membrane train process. A new 1.4 ML bolted steel potable water storage tank will also be part of the upgrades. The treatment equipment package and the bolted steel tank package were pre-selected by the Owner and will be transferred to the General Contractor by Novation Agreement. The work includes the demolition of existing equipment that will be abandoned with the upgrades. The project involves the supply and installation of new process equipment and piping, HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems as well as new controls and SCADA upgrades and other associated plant works.
