Sealed bids by qualified contractors for the demolition and removal of two blighted residential structures in the Borough. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to the Borough Secretary. Project will include demolition and removal of structures and debris on two adjoining parcels on West Street that are identified by tax parcel numbers 2017-038 (PID no. 7626) and 2017-037 (PID no.7625); proper disposal of materials and debris, restoration of the site including fill, leveling, seeding and straw, termination and proper disconnection of all utilities; and any permitting or environmental testing required by the Borough or state. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of not less than One Thousand Dollars ($1,000) and include an itemization of all costs associated with the project. Prevailing wage established under the PA Department of Labor & Industry may apply to this contract. Pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Contract Documents, the successful Bidder/Contractor shall furnish a performance bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total Contract Price, and the successful Bidder/Contractor shall furnish certificates of insurance to demonstrate compliance with the minimum coverages as set forth in the Contract Documents Conneautville Borough reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the Borough, and to reject any or all bids.
