**As of March 18th , 2024 project was awarded to Dixon Electric Inc, awarded amount is $932,063.50.** SR 0036 Penn Street / Logan Boulevard Traffic Signal Improvement Project Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the base bid, made payable to Logan Township. Certified checks or bid bonds of unsuccessful bidders shall be returned to them upon selection of the successful bidder. A Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond, in the amount of 100% of the contract amount, will be required to be submitted by the successful bidder upon award of a contract, unless otherwise specified. The Logan Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any technical defects or bidding irregularities, and to award the contract as may be deemed by the Board to be in the Township's best interest. All bidders shall be pre-qualified with PennDOT pursuant to 67 Pa. Code Chapter 457, Prequalification of Bidders, and shall use only PennDOT-certified materials. No bidder may withdraw his bid until a period of forty-five (45) days following the date set for receiving bids. The Township reserves the right to hold any and all bids for a period of not more than forty-five (45) days, and all bids shall remain valid and in full force and effect during said period. Award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder provided, however, the Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids in part or in whole, and to waive any informalities.
