The work for which proposals are asked includes the following: Excavation Common, Base Aggregate Dense, Breaker run, Concrete and Asphalt Driveways, Concrete Curb & Gutter, Concrete Sidewalk, Concrete Steps, RCP & HDPE Storm Sewer, PVC Sump Drain Line, Catch Basins, Manholes, Watermain, Hydrants, Valves, Copper Water Services, Mobilization, Restoration, Erosion Control, and Traffic Control. All Bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's, certified or bank check, or a Bid Bond equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total Bid, made payable to the City of Watertown, such guarantee to be forfeited should the successful Bidder fail to enter into the contract. The City of Watertown reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for sixty (60) days after the time set for opening Bids. Bidders shall prequalify with the City on forms in the bidding documents or on forms supplied by the Contractor not less than five (5) days before the opening of Bids.
