Site work and paving for a road / highway in Saint Clair, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Work is more particularly described as 1,500 square yards of pavement removal, 82 stations of trenching, 13,000 Tons of asphalt, 540 square yards of concrete paving, 29,200 square yards of base stabilization and 2,200 tons of shoulder aggregate on various roads with pavement markings, monument boxes, and miscellaneous items. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified/cashier's check or Bid Bond on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable to the St. Clair County Road Commission or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid as guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a contract. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive irregularities in any bid and make award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the County.
