Closing Time: 4:30 PM (NT) ** Please note that there has been 1 addendum issued for this RFP. ** Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/02/14 04:30:00 PM NST Nunatsiavut Government is seeking proposals for the development of immediate action plans, operational models, site selections and concept plans for future waste management sites for all 5 Inuit communities in Nunatsiavut, including Nain, Hopedale, Postville, Makkovik and Rigolet. The goal of this project is to define a clear path forward for Nunatsiavut and each individual Inuit community. This includes conducting work towards implementation through operational changes as well as initiating design work of new and existing facilities. There are 5 phases to this project including: Phase 1: Background Review & Preparation for Site Visit Phase 2: Site Visit & Preliminary Engagement Phase 3: Interim Waste Management Action Plan & Background Report Phase 4: Concept Design and Costing Phase 5: Final Presentation and Report NG is currently undertaking Pingutitsinik Nunatsiavut: Create Nunatsiavut Infrastructure Strategy which is a broad infrastructure strategy aimed at enhancing delivery of infrastructure. This strategy will guide decision-making and long-term investment to bridge the infrastructure gaps in Nunatsiavut. As part of this larger strategy, this project ('The Project') aims to provide direction on solid waste management within each of the 5 Inuit communities in the region.
