The Florence Housing Authority is seeking Proposals from qualified firms to provide all labor and materials for modernizations of kitchens in the apartments and the community room at their Florence, KS site. The general scope of work includes replacement of cabinets, counters, sinks, faucets, range hoods, wiring devices, lighting and other items as indicated on the plans and specifications. Scope of Work a) Kitchen Modernizations i) Please see the attached plans and technical specifications to determine the full scope of work. ii) The general scope includes; (1) Demolition of existing kitchen cabinets, counters, sinks, faucets, range hoods, wiring devices, lighting, and other items as required. (2) Preparation of rough-in for electrical needs (3) Repair walls and ceilings that were damaged during the work. (4) Install new wall and base cabinets as shown. (5) Install new range hoods, light fixtures, wiring devices as shown. (6) Install new kitchen sinks, faucets, shut-offs, supplies and traps as shown. (a) The faucets will be provided by the Owner. (7) Install new vanity cabinets, counters, sinks and faucets in the community building. (8) Complete additional work items identified on the plans as needed for a complete and working installation. iii) Each kitchen will need to be operational at the end of each work day. iv) The Contractor is responsible for daily cleanup of the work areas, and for hauling these items off for disposal off site. v) After the original contract has been awarded, additional work may be identified by the Owner and the successful contractor. Additional work will be done by a change order. vi) All work shall be completed in compliance with these contract documents vii) Weekly certified payroll reports (CPR's) shall be completed and submitted to the Owner for review.
