The City of Weyburn is seeking quotations for the replacement of approximately 455 meters of AC water main pipe and associated infrastructure at two separate locations as follows: Location 1: 265 meters on Railway Avenue, between 8th Street and 10th Street and; Location 2: 190 meters on Moore Street, between Sims Avenue and 1st Avenue SW The scope of work will include: Location 1: Railway Avenue (8th Street to 10th Street) Provide and maintain temporary, overland water service to one (1) commercial property for the duration of the project, via connection to hydrant(s) in proximity. Replacement of approximately 265 meters of 200 mm AC water main and associated infrastructure with 200 mm PVC C-900 water main between valve #226 and valve #231. Replacement, Reconnection and Renewal to include all materials - include costs to reestablish one (1) service connection, replacement of three (3) valves (#228, #229 and #629), replacement of three (3) watermain connections (including replacement of 150 mm AC line from T-connections to the valves #227 and #230 and replacement of the 300 mm x 200 mm cross connection and the 300 mm AC line to valves #630 and #657) and replacement of the T-connection and hydrant lead to the valve on hydrant #107. Supply, grading and compaction of backfill, subbase and base materials. Location 2: Moore Street (Sims Avenue to 1st Avenue SW) Provide and maintain temporary, overland water service to one (1) residential and three (3) commercial properties for the duration of the project, via connection to hydrant(s) in proximity. Replacement of approximately 190 meters of 200 mm AC water main and associated infrastructure with 200 mm PVC C-900 water main between valve #4151 and valve #669. Replacement, Reconnection and Renewal to include all materials - include costs to reestablish four (4) service connections, replacement of three (3) valves (#669, #416, and the 100 mm valve for the irrigation line on the NE corner), replacement of one (1) watermain connection at Sims Avenue, replacement of T-connection and hydrant lead to the valve on hydrant #204 and replacement of 200 mm x 100 mm T-connection for irrigation line.
