The basis of each Bid may vary, and may even include alternate bids. This should be made clear in the Bid Form. Edit to suit the Project and Owner's requirements. Descriptions of the Work should be brief, but provide adequate detail for prospective Bidders to be able to determine if the Work is the type of project they can pursue. Descriptions should be consistent with those included in the Division 01 Section 011000 Summary of Work. Work shall be substantially completed on or before November 30, 2024, and ready for final payment by December 30, 2024. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Contract term: Approx 9 mos. Total MWBE Participation Goals: 20% This document contains guidance and requirements, based on contract value, to comply with EFC requirements including but not limited: Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Minority & Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) Programs; Requirements of the Federal Davis Bacon Related Acts (DBRA); Restrictions on Lobbying; American Iron and Steel Requirements; and Requirements Regarding Suspension and Debarments. The Successful Bidder will be required to submit an EEO Staffing Plan to the Recipient prior to the execution of this Contract. For contracts anticipated to exceed $100,000, the Bidder will be required to submit a Minority/Women Business Enterprise Utilization Plan to assure attainment of Minority/Women Business Enterprise goals. This is a public works project and both federal and state prevailing wages, as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor and the New York State Department of Labor, must be paid (the higher of the two, as applicable). Provisions for prevailing wages are set forth in this Project Manual. The advertisement may be for a single contract, or for several contracts being bid concurrently where multi-prime contracts are used. For a single contract, delete the "[OR]," the wording that introduces the table, and the table itself. For multiple contracts, delete the sentence beginning "Bids are requested for the following..." and the "[OR"], and retain the table and introductory wording. Revise the format if a table is not practical for print publication. Deadline for questions is 3:00 p.m. on February 13, 2024. The Owner, reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bid received, or to reject any or all Bids without explanation. The Owner is an exempt organization under the Tax Law and is exempt from payment of Sales and Compensating Use Taxes on materials which are to be incorporated into the project and which are to be separately sold by the Contractor to the Owner prior to incorporation into the project, pursuant to the provisions of the Contract. These taxes are not to be included in the bid.
